Pictures that made it way online earlier today, showed the moment Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro met with Nwabili in South Africa.
Stanley Nwabili with wide experience of African style of football
Peseiro was seen all smiles as he shakes the hand of the 27-year-old former Enyimba FC goalkeeper. And that has fueled speculations that Uzoho may not be Super Eagles first choice at the 2023 AFCON.
Peseiro in a meeting with the Sports Minister Honourable John Enoh and officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) confessed that he’s already talking to a new goalkeeper to help stabilise the goalkeeping department.
After a careful examination of the Stanley Nwabili, two important things of interest can be stated; and they are:
First, (at 27) he’s a very young Goalkeeper who can boast of many more years with the Super Eagles if he eventually gets a nod in goal. Modern day football coaches always consider the ages of the players at their possessions; and Nwabili is right on track as far as age is concerned.
Secondly, Nwabili has a wide range of experience (both local and abroad) having featured in the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) before going abroad.

And again, he’s domiciled in Africa(South Africa), giving him a better chance ahead of his compatriots who play in Europe. Because the African Cup Of Nations (AFCON) tournament, is an African thing, and will be executed in Africa. It’s no longer news that Stanley Nwabili possesses a good experience of the African style of football.
According to Transfer Market Nwabili is valued at €100,000(86,300,000 Naira equivalent).
