A top football analyst Mr Best has warned against snubbin/changing Francis Uzoho as Super Eagles goalkeeper npflupdates.com reports.
There are call by fans, supporters and some top football analysts in Nigeria for the immediate exclusion of Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho from the national team.

Many a few are calling for the first choice role be stripped from him, others are calling for his immediate exclusion from the 2023 AFCON squad list(yet to be released).
Football analyst canvass support for Francis Uzoho
Uzoho’s inconsistency in Super Eagles goal can be identified as the main reason why the various stakeholders are agitated. Few weeks ago during a friendly game with Saudi Arabia, Uzoho howled a harmless free-kick into his own net.
Also, the 24-year-old miscalculated his steps leading to Mozambique’s opener few days after the Saudi Arabia blunder. All these and more were the reasons why fans longer have confidence in his services.
On the contrary to fans suggestion, NPFLUpdates in-house analyst Mr Best, is of the opinion that now isn’t the best time to sack the former Deportivo la Coruna shot-stopper.
According to Best, the AFCON is in less than a month, a new goalie introduced to an unfamiliar defense can not blend easily.
“While I feel disappointed in his(Uzoho) previous performances, now is not the best time to sack him,” Mr. Best said Friday morning.
“The AFCON is at the doorstep; and go want to sack a player that’s already familiar with his defense. If you check his last match, he has improved a lot, and that shows progress.”

He added, “The AFCON can’t be a testing ground. Uzoho will deliver at the AFCON, and I know that for sure. Sacking him can only mean disaster for the Super Eagles AFCON.”
