Sunday Faleye Dumps NPFL For Georgia

Super Eagles midfielder, Sunday Faleye, has secured a lucrative move to Georgian premier league from a Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) outfit Shooting Stars SC.

Faleye has been instrumental for Shooting Stars since joining the Nigerian side on loan from Dukla Prague.

Sunday Faleye, according to club reports agreed to terms, and after passing his medical test signed a contract.

The playmaker signed a one-year contract for the Georgian Cup Champions Torpedo Kutaisi . Meanwhile, it was gathered that a caveat in his deal provides room for a contract extension if he impress.

Torpedo Kutaisi as the League and Cup champions of Georgia is looking to fortify it’s midfield.

And the team needed super talented Midfielders to execute the project, hence the need to bring in the Nigerian.

Faleye is expected to join his teammates in camp as preparations for the next season resumes.

The former Wacker Insbruck player will help his team defend their titles, while charging towards a continental glory.

In the past, the 24-year-old had played for SCR Altach in the Austrian Bundesliga.

Capped four times by the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Faleye have one goal to his name.
