Super Eagles of Nigeria have had impressive strikers, (Uche Nwofor one of them) since they kicked first football as a team. And winning its first major Championship in 1980 when they hosted and won the AFCON tournament.
Super talented players have been part of the team from time past. The likes of Jay Jay Okocha, Kanu Nwankwo, Rashidi Yekini, Daniel Amokachi, Sunday Oliseh amongst other dominating African football.
THe dominance of Super Eagles products also extended across Europe and other parts of the world.
A look into the best super substitutes the team have had in the past, one name, Uche Nwofor comes to mind.

Nwofor characterized by speed, shot power and high dribbling skills came into limelight in 201. Then he was with the Flying Eagles at the African Youth Championship. He won the tournament’s highest goalscorer award with four goals in five matches.
Also in August of 2011, Nwofor was at the FIFA U-20 W’Cup in Colombia, with Flying Eagles. He became a household name when he came off the bench to score two goals in six minutes against Croatia.
In July 2013, Nwofor off the bench scored two goals against South Africa in a friendly match. He netted in 49th and 68th minutes respectively to hand Super Eagles a draw.
In 2014, during a warm-up match against Scotland at the Craven Cottage, Nwofor saved Nigeria from blushes. Coming off the bench yet again he scored a stoppage time equalizer to save Nigeria from blushes.
He would make the Super Eagles 2014 FIFA World Cup squad.
Nine years after the Brazil outing, the 31-year-old is nowhere to be found in the top scenes.
In his time, Nwofor had spells in the Nigeria Professional Football League playing for Anambra Pillars and
Shooting Stars SC.
Leaving Nigeria, Nwofor joined VV Venlo in the Netherlands Eredivise in 2011. And when Venlo was relegated to the Erste Division, Nwofor joined SC Heenreven.
Before hanging his boots, Nwofor also played in Algeria, for JS Kabyile.
