Victor Osimhen few weeks ago was speculated to be nearing a move away from the Diego Maradona Stadium. Several reports habe linked the Nigerian to a move to the English Premier League with the like of Manchester United interested in his services.
However, a more recent report that made rounds, revealed that Saudi Arabia outfit Al Hilal made an official £150 million bid for the Nigerian. But the offer was turned down by the club’s president Di Laurentis.

Victor Osimhen will be better in Europe than Saudi Arabia
“But Victor is very happy in Napoli. For his growth path, staying in Europe and showing off in the Champions League remains the best way. He is young and has time to prove his talent,” Peseiro told Italian news outlet Gazzetta dello Sport and was quoted by Punch Nigeria.
However, Peseiro admiited that some certain offers, especially of high monetary value can make any player think twice. But, he also noted that in reality, money is not always everything.
“Then I understand that in the face of certain offers one can waver: two seasons in Arabia are worth more than ten in Europe, but money is not everything. Victor has improved a lot in Italy,” he added.
