A Super Eagles player has cried over the activities of what he believed is not ordinary in his life that’s affecting his performances on the pitch.
It’s no longer news that at some point in people’s life, they seem to undergo some difficulties. And some of these difficulties can be speculated to be controlled by some spiritual powers.

Some time in the late 90s and early 2000s, Super Eagles goalkeeper Peter Rufai, was speculated to have been troubled by spiritual powers. Because at the FIFA world cup tournament in France, he made so many errors which prompted the speculations.
And not too long ago, a former Black Stars of Ghana striker, Asamoah Gyan, admitted players use ‘Juju’ in camps. And they mostly use it to prevent the success of rival teammates.
Earlier this year, npflupdates reported how some Flying Eagles players go to Camp with Juju. And some players will end up being bewitched by the mischievous ones in their midst.

Some years ago, Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike, had to perform some ritual is Turkey to end his go drought. Because, according to the striker, his goal drought then, was a result of spiritual witch-hunt.
A source close the player who was with Nigeria earlier this year confirmed the incident to NPFLUpdates.
According to the source, the player is already considering going spiritual to help ameliorate his case.

“This player(names witheld) is in trouble, if what he told me is something to go by,” he said.
“Spiritual powers are behind his performances. And based on what he explained, I think it’s a marine spirit; sometime like a spiritual wife case.”
He continued, “And these are part of the prices footballers pay, that the fans are not aware of.”
“And we’re already considering going spiritual to help ameliorate his predicament,” he added.
The Super Eagles will return to AFCON qualifier action against Sao Tome and Principe in Uyo. And that will be the team’s last qualification action. But it’s just to fulfil all CAF obligation, as they have already qualified for 2024 AFCON in Ivory Coast.
