Napoli’s Victor Osimhen gives his personal opinion about speculations linking him with Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal.
The Saudi Arabian league has become a safe haven for footballers in recent times. And it has witnessed a huge number of footballers move from Europe to the Middle-East.

With some African football superstars already completing a move to the oil-rich state. Likes of Sadio Mane, Riyad Mahrez, Kalidou Koulibaly, Franck Kessie have already completed a move to clubs in Saudi league.
Interestingly, Super Eagles’ Henry Onyekuru has become the first national team player to move to the Middle-East this summer.
And while speaking to newsmen after his first game of the 2023/2024 Serie A season, Osimhen revealed that his move or contract renewal depends on Napoli’s president Di Laurentis.

“The president is the boss. We are still negotiating, we’ll see at the end of the transfer window,” he said.
“For now, I am a Napoli player, which is the most important thing. And I will give my heart and soul to this team as I’ve always done in the past. We’ll see what happens,”
Meanwhile, Real Madrid’s manager Carlo Ancelotti, has denied speculations linking the club to signing Victor Osimhen this summer.
According to the 64-year-old gaffer, never was there a time he thought of Osimhen as a replacement for departed Benzema.
However, the Italian coach admitted, that Osimhen is arguably the strongest striker in world football at the moment.
And is capable of changing every game he’s featured.
“Osimhen is one of the strongest strikers in Europe, but we never thought of him. With the arrival of Bellingham, we thought of making up for Benzema’s farewell in other ways,” Ancelotti was quoted Madrid Universal.

Speculations spread few weeks ago that Al Hilal is interested in Victor Osimhen. And would want the Nigerian to switch to the Saudi Arabia Pro League.
Also a former Chelsea’s backroom staff, Michael Emenalo, has expressed interest in having Osimhen play in the Saudi Arabia. Emenalo is the current Saudi Arabia league’s Technical Director.
