Head coach of Enyimba Football Club Finidi George promises to help the club bounce back after an awful African Football League outing npflupdates.com reports.

Enyimba lost to Wydad Casablanca over two legs at the ongoing inaugural edition of the African Football League (AFL). The People’s Elephant suffered a shocking 1-0 defeat against Wydad in Uyo last Sunday.
The reigning and defending Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, promised to bounce back and overturn the defeat when they engage the Botola Pro League giants in the reverse fixture.
However, the two-time CAF Champions League winners, were Walloped in Casablanca, suffering a 3-o defeat against the Red and White colours. Goals from Yahia Attiyat Allah, Amloud and Charki Bahri ensured the Nigerian boys were sent packing outvl of the AFL.
What Finidi George said about Enyimba’s AFL outing
Speaking after the game, Finidi said the team were made up of young player with a lot of potentials for the future.

According to the 1994 AFCON winner, the club under his tutelage is working towards “something”.
“We have a lot of young players,” Finidi was quoted by Enyimbafc.net.
“We are working towards something. I think in the coming years, these players will graduate and they will have that experience.
“For them, it’s a big experience playing in a big tournament like this. Unfortunately, we didn’t qualify. So, we’ll learn from what we’ve done wrong and try to be better in the future.

“It’s a good tournament, and for the young players that are coming up, it’s also a good experience for them. In one or two years they will have the experience and whenever they compete like this, they’ll do much better.”
