A renowned top football agent has revealed scouts of Italian Serie A Champions, AC Milan were highly disappointed at the performances of the Flying Eagles at the ongoing AFCON U-20 tournament in Egypt.
The Flying Eagles ended their stay in Egypt on a high note achieving a podium 3rd place finish.
Nigeria won the Bronze medal on Friday afternoon. The Ladan Bosso boys, saw off a tough opposition from the Junior Carthage Eagles of Tunisia before winning the consolation.

In a chat with NPFLUpdates correspondent on Saturday afternoon, the agent confirmed he was disappointed by Nigeria’s selection for AFCON.
And this is an agent, who has in the past brokered the signing of numerous grassroot footballers of African extraction.
Exceptional grassroot talents, has moved to European clubs through his assistance. According to him Nigeria will not get the job done at FIFA U-20, with the type of players at the AFCON.
He told our correspondent, that he arrived Cairo along with the scouts early enough before the tournament kicked off.
And they stayed until the bronze match, to see if any player can be spotted. But had to return to Italy disappointed, because of the class of the players.
Italian Scouts Disappointed At Flying Eagles At The AFCON U-20:
“First of all, the present AFCON U-20 team is lacking exceptional players,” he said when asked why he couldn’t snap up players from the Flying Eagles team.
“Not interested in any of those boys, sorry.”
“I was in Cairo with the Scouts of AC Milan and Torino FC until the end of their 3rd place match,” he added.
He however, suggested that the Flying Eagles, should lookout for match winners. According to him, the team strikers, performed very poorly in front of goal.
Head coach of the Flying Eagles Isah Ladan Bosso, has until April 10, 2023, to submit his provisional squad list for the U-20 World Cup tournament to FIFA.
The list we gathered will consist of fifty names. Whether are not the gaffer will overhaul his team to AFCON U-20 is still a doubt.
