Super Eagles head coach, José Peseiro provides update on Injured goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali npflupdates.com reports.
Stanley Nwabali got stretched deep into the second-half after colliding with an advancing Cameroonian player. The former Enyimba FC goalkeeper after getting some medical attention, had wanted to continue and see off the game, but was forced out due to discomfort in the affected zone.

Omonia Nicosia goalkeeper Francis Uzoho was brought in; full of confidence and experience, he concluded the game Cleansheet.
Peseiro provides crucial update about injured Nwabali
Speaking to the media about Nwabali, Peseiro said it’s difficult to ascertain the degree of injury while play is going on. So, the medical team will take their time, and conduct a full-scale scan and provide a credible report within the next few hours.
“We will assess the state of @NwabaliBobo’s injury in the next 24 to 48 hours. It’s difficult to assess his condition, while we were in the match. But I am hoping that he will be fit for the next match… I want him to play. And the players want him to play,” Peseiro said in a post-match presser; and was quoted by journalist Osasu Obayiuwana.
In another but related story, Peseiro revealed he wants to win every game he’ll come up against (and of course win the AFCON).
According to the football tactician, if the players can replicate yesterday’s features against Angola; then victory is assured.
“See, I want to just win every game, I don’t know what Nigerians think about names in football but if we must defeat Angola, we must play like today,” the former Venezuela coach told the Media.

Meanwhile, Ademola Lookman who’s brace helped Nigeria beat Cameroon in a post-match presser appreciated his teammates’ steadfastness.
