Enyimba FC head coach, Finidi George provides expensive advise to goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali as it regards the future of the shot-stopper, npflupdates.com reports.
Nwabali was outstanding at the recently concluded Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Cote d’Ivoire; keeping four cleansheets in seven games as Nigeria finished with a silver medal.

Post 2023 AFCON, clubs in Europe, Asia and America have experienced interest in the services of the 27-year-old who’s currently contracted with Chippa United in the South African PSL.
Sources has it that a Saudi club is willing to pay the former Enyimba FC goalkeeper to the tune of N70,000,000 weekly wages if he joins in the summer.
Advising Nwabali, George who’s a former Ajax Amsterdam winger revealed footballers career is always short. Hence the need for players to utilise their resources well.
Nwabali should move to a club with better salary
George, who is also part of the Dream Team’s squad that won gold in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta Georgia, stressed that footballers have limited time in their careers. So it’s imperative Nwabali and his colleagues maximize their time.
“I think he has to go somewhere else. If there is that opportunity for him, definitely he has to because you know, this career of a footballer is very short. 10 years, 12 years at most.
“If there are no injuries. So you have to make the best out of it because life after football is so long that if you don’t get the best out of it when you’re active, yeah, you see some players struggle,” George said.

“So the best you can get now is going to be better for the future. If there’s an offer somewhere else in Europe, Asia where they would pay him better. I think he has to go for it.”
