Former Super Eagles forward Yakubu Aiyegbeni, says Egyptian and Liverpool forward Mohammed Salah is an opportunity player; npflupdates.com reports.
Aiyegbeni at a time in his active days was the highest goalscorer of African extraction in the English Premier League. But other African forwards in Didier Drogba, Emmanuel Adebayo and Mohammed Salah have overtaken the Nigerian on the goal-scoring chart.

With two spells in the English Premier League (Chelsea and currently Liverpool) Salah is ahead of Aiyegbeni with 154 goals in 252 appearances.
What Yakubu Aiyegbeni said about Egypt’s Mohammed Salah
“Salah is not world-class in my opinion. He is not good with the ball, and the majority of his goals are lucky goals.
“The greatest African players in the Premier League are Okocha, Drogba, Kanu, Yaya Toure, Emmanuel Adebayor and Sadio Mane,” Yakubu said on Talksport in quotes revealed via Daily Post.
In another post, Super Eagles assistant coach Finidi George advises goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali to make a move to a club where he can get a better higher earnings.
George, who is also coach of the NPFL side Enyimba, stressed that footballers have limited time in their careers, and it’ll be good for Nwabali to maximize his time.
“I think he has to go somewhere else. If there is that opportunity for him, definitely he has to because you know, this career of a footballer is very short. 10 years, 12 years at most.

“If there are no injuries. So you have to make the best out of it because life after football is so long that if you don’t get the best out of it when you’re active, yeah, you see some players struggle.
“So the best you can get now is going to be better for the future. If there’s an offer somewhere else in Europe, Asia where they would pay him better. I think he has to go for it,” George said.
