Some fans of the Super Eagles of Nigeria have alleged the existence of a cabal in the NFF (Nigeria Football Federation) administration NPFL Updates reports.
Social media space in Nigeria was set agog Thursday evening following the release of a 23-man squad list for the Super Eagles class against Guinea-Bissau.
The Super Eagles  will tackle the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau in Abuja on 24 March. They’ll travel to Guinea-Bissau three days later on a second date for the game.
The list included some under-performing players like Wilfred Ndidi and Captain Ahmed Musa, who’s yet to score a single Super Lig goal in almost a year.

Also included included in the list were Flying Eagles teenagers, Chijioke Aniagboso of Giant Brillars Academy, and Daniel Bameyi of Yum Yum FC (a non-league side).
Reacting a Facebook user identifiable as Innocent Onu, alleged serious corruption in the heirrachy.
Nigerians allege cabal in the NFF:
“Nigeria with corruption in every angle. Some of this players have not tested a minute action in their clubs. This man have the mind to invite them. Those Midfielders, only Iwobi is the only one that is for to play. How on Earth do you expect any striker to score without a quality or good assist? Nigeria still have a long way to go.”
He added, “Believe me, na only struggling to draw or manage to win you will see that day.”
Another user Funnyeba, alleged that the coach wasn’t responsible for assembling the team. He stressed some top individuals behind it.
“Eating be this, abi na my eyes dey pain me?” he queried in Pidgin language.
“I’m sure say no be the coach select this players. Na wetin dem tell him to do, he go do. Dem just use the coach chop our money. I sense cabal”
Speaking about player’s poor performances, “Kelechi Iheanacho is not supposed to be in that squad. He is not serious with his career, and Ahmed Musa should be retired from national football. We have young lads out there that will do the job,” he said.
“Big name players have big advantage in national team squad. So don’t write them off. Watch first, so you can find some to praise and criticise,” Omar M Tygason said.
