Benjamin Frederick Grants First Explosive Interview At Brentford

Flying Eagles defender Benjamin Frederick opens up on the quality facilities he is exposed to as a Brentford player npflupdates.com reports.

Benjamin recently secured a move to London-based Brentford from Nigeria’s Simoiben Football Academy Kaduna state. And in his first interview with the club’s media, has expressed fulfilment with the quality of facilities at the club.

According to the defender, he’s pleased to be part of the club. And admitted that it is a great deal of opportunity for him to have signed for such a lucrative club in England’s capital.

“I haven’t been in contact with Brentford for very long, but I’m pleased to be here,” he told the Brentford’s official website.

“Because the technical director told me the plans they have for me and it’s a really great opportunity.”

Benjamin Frederick was part of the Flying Eagles squad at the AFCON U-20 tournament in Egypt where Nigeria won bronze. Also, he was part of the Ladan Bosso’s squad at the FIFA U-20 World Cup tournament in Argentina.

At the world cup, Benjamin started all flying Eagles match except the last group fixture against Brazil. Because he was suspended for having two yellow cards in his previous fixtures.

Reminiscing about the world cup he said, “It was my first World Cup. So it was a great experience, playing in front of fans was good for me.”

Speaking further on the type and quality of facilities obtainable at Brentford, the Nigerian expressed satisfaction. Adding that on-ground equipments at Brentford is enough for players’ development.

“The facilities here will definitely improve you as a player, the pitches at the training ground are very good and I feel it will help me to do well,” he said.

Benjamin will join MacFarlane’s Youth team for the remainder of the 2023/2024 season. And he didn’t waste time to acknowledge the English gaffer who express great confidence in his abilities.

“He (MacFarlane) was talking to me about how he feels I can improve my game and was telling me so much about the team,” he said.

“I’m a good player, a disciplined player who doesn’t like losing only winning and I love achieving goals with my teammates.”
