There’s wild jubilation in the camp of the Flying Eagles after it was revealed that Inter Milan’s Ebenezer Akinsanmiro will join the team ahead if the FIFA U-20 world cup tournament.
The preparation for the FIFA U-20 World Cup tournament is ongoing. And Flying Eagles coach, Ladan Bosso has invited a lot of foreign-based players to bolster the team.
The latest invitee to the team is Inter Milan player Ebenezer Akinsanmiro. And also, recall Botev Plovdiv of Bulgaria duo Emmanuel Umeh and Nnadi Tochukwu has been invited.
And a club official statement confirmed the Bulgaria-based players will arrive Nigeria today.
Ebenezer formerly of Remo Stars Football Club, joined Inter Milan last year. And has since established himself as an integral part of the team.

The teenager has featured in nine Primavera fixtures this season. And has directly contributed to the success of the club twice, by assisting two of the club’s goals.
Flying Eagles coach, Ladan Bosso, through the invitation of the teenager is trying to solve the problem of breakthrough passes. Recall, Nigeria’s midfield at the AFCON U-20 tournament in Egypt lacked link-up passes. And also, their ball possession skills isn’t a top notch.
And with the injury of creative midfielder, Daniel Daga, Bosso don’t want to take any chances as the FIFA world cup approaches.
Ebenezer Akinsanmiro Is A Big Option For The Flying Eagles
“This is a good move by the coach. I mean it’s a move in the right direction,” NPFLUpdates in-house analyst Mr. Bertrand said Tuesday morning.
“The kid, according to reports out of Italy is very lucrative. And is fast becoming a masterclass. I think his presence in the midfield will add value to what we saw at the AFCON.”
Nigeria at the world cup will do battle with Italy, Dominican Republic and five-time world champions Brazil.
The Flying Eagles first match is on 21 May, against Dominican Republic. And the match will host in Mendoza, at the Estadio Malvinas Argentina’s.
