Enyimba Fans Traumatized As Peoples’ Elephant Collapse In Uyo

Fans of Enyimba FC have been left disgruntled as Botola Pro League outfit Wydad Casablanca defeats NPFL giants in Uyo npflupdates.com reports.

Enyimba today Sunday 22 October, 2023, failed to win its first ever tie in the recently inaugurated African Football League AFL, against Wydad Casablanca.

After trailing behind its opponent in the first half, the Finidi George’s boys tried to restore parity in the second half. But the former CAF Champions League winners, stood their grounds, and held their positions go earn the important maximum points.

Enyimba will now have to overturn the defeat and beat Wydad by at least 2-0 when they travel to Casablanca next week for the reverse fixture, so they can stand a chance of making it to the semi-final.

Meanwhile, the predictions of Wydad Casablanca Captain Yahya Jabrane, has come to past. Yahya in a pre-match press conference told journalists his team are in Nigeria go to beat the current Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions.
