Former Flying Eagles defender, Musa Mohammed, has been released by his club after contract extension talks breaks down.
The 26-year-old is expected to leave the club with immediate effect when his contract expires next week.
Musa is a member of the Golden Eaglets squad that won the FIFA U-17 World Cup tournament in 2015. And the lucrative defender, since after the tournament has been playing in Europe.
Before joining FK Sarajevo, Musa has played in the Turkish Super Lig for Istanbul. And also in the Bulgarian top flight division for Lokomotiv Plovdiv.

According to reports, the FK Sarajevo refused to extend the contract of the player. And last season, he featured in fifteen games and scores one goal for the Bosnia and Herzegovina former champions.
“Bosnia and Herzegovina club, FK Sarajevo has refused to extend the contract of Musa Mohammed. And he will leave the club and become a free agent next week,” a source close to the player’s transfer told npflupdates.

“Reasons for the club’s decision at this time remains unknown. But it cannot be far from the player’s performances. I will follow up the case and get more details sooner than later.”
Musa according to Transfer Market is valued at €200,000. But with his release, interested clubs will no longer have to pay any money before securing his services.

The former Flying Eagles defender, also made the 35-man provisional squad for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Brazil.
The defender also enjoyed some caps with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
With the recent development, the Kano-born player may return to the Nigeria Premier League, as he await another offer.
