Falconets head coach Christopher Musa Danjuma, has invited at least 25 players to the national team ahead of next month’s world cup qualifier fixture npflupdates.com reports.

Falconets will exchange tackles with the Tanzania ladies next month as they prepare to qualify for next year’s FIFA U-20 women’s world cup tournament.
Nigeria progressed to the next round where it will face Tanzania in Dar es Salaam on first leg after Mauritius women’s U-20 team withdrew from the qualifiers.
According to report by Premium Times, world football-governing body, FIFA recently increased the number of finalists for next year’s FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup final tournament in Colombia to 24, from the 16 that participated in Costa Rica during the previous edition. Also the world governing body, increased the number of Africa’s representatives and bearers to four.

This simply means that after the Tanzania fixture, and the Falconets survives they will have one more round to go before qualification for the tourney, which will hold in Colombia in September 2024.
