Arsenal’s teenage sensation Joel Ideho, has snubbed a national team invitation to join the Flying Eagles ahead of the FIFA U-20 World Cup tournament.
The Flying Eagles is almost ready finalizing its list ahead of the FIFA U-20 World Cup tournament in Argentina.

And invited foreign-based players are beginning to arrive camp, but it seems Ideho is not interested. But recall, the youngster was in the camp of the Flying Eagles before the AFCON U-20 tournament in Egypt.
And he was impressive, but couldn’t make the final list due to logistics reasons. Then, he wasn’t able to get a Nigerian passport, as he wielded a Dutch passport.
Joel Ideho was born in Netherlands, to Nigerian parents. And he started his career at FC Willem, before joining Ajax Youth. And from Ajax, he was signed by Arsenal, and has since been training with the youth team.

The snubbing of the national invitation, will mean change of plans and tactics for Bosso. Because, sources revealed, Bosso, has already lined up a lucrative task for the teenager.

According to Bosso, neither the kid nor Arsenal has replied the official invitation forwarded by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.
“I have no word from.him or Arsenal,” Ladan Bosso told OwngoalNigeria.
“So, I guess he isn’t coming with us to the World Cup. The invitation letter was sent and a follow u. Buy Arsenal didn’t reply any of the letters officially sent to them.”
“We have to plan with what we have and wish him well,” he concluded.
Nigeria at the FIFA U-20 World Cup tournament is in the same group with Dominican Republic, Italy and five-time champions Brazil.
The team will play it’s first match against Dominican Republic at the Estadio Malvinas Argentinasin Mendoza.
And two days later, the team will encounter Italy, before meeting Brazil in their final group fixture.
He honored an earlier invitation but couldn’t make AFCON because of Passport issues. What does it take the NFF to work with the ministry to provide the needed passport ahead of the players arrival. Until the NFF gets it act together we will continue get such rejections
