Gift Orban Praised By Coach After European Hat-trick

Gift Orban denies speculations that he wouldn't fancy a move to Arsenal FC

KAA Gent manager Hein Vanhaezebrouck, singles out Super Eagles prospect Gift Orban for praises after European stunner.

Gift Orban on Wednesday bagged first Hat-trick of the 2023/2024 season when he helped his team beat opponent Pogon Sczein. And with that, Gent now has one foot into the next round of the UEFA Europa Conference League preliminary rounds.

Meanwhile, the young Nigerian forward seems not to be stopping anytime soon, as he continues scoring for fun.

And just this season alone the 21-year-old has already registered four goals for the Buffalos.

And after Gent’s victory at home yesterday, coach Vanhaezebrouck singled out Orban for praise.

According to the coach, Gift is a phenomenon, and will continue to he a phenomenon.

“He’s a phenomenon and he will continue to be a phenomenon. I’ve said it five times and I’ll keep saying it,” he told reporters after the game.

And while buttressing his point, Vanhaezebrouck insisted that Gift will always be a phenomenon despite the club he’ll be joining in the future.

“Even if he is no longer here, he will remain a phenomenon, and I will continue to say that. He is 21 and remains a young guy.

“His hat-trick? That is nothing special in itself anymore, is it?”

And just last season, Orban scored more than fifteen goals across all competitions for the Pro League outfit.

Meanwhile, he’s holding the current record of a the fastest hat-trick in a European competition.

Orban has been linked with a move to London club Tottenham Hotspur. It is being speculated that the youngster is considered a perfect replacement for an allegedly outgoing Harry Kane.

Interestingly, the former Stabæk forward, have expressed interest in moving to a more lucrative and competitive league. With him fantasising a move to Liverpool, Manchester United or Manchester City.
