Tottenham Hotspur are yet to make any official bid for Super Eagles prospect Gift Orban npflupdates.com reports.

Gift Orban has been on the radar of London club Tottenham Hotspur following the departure of Harry Kane.

Tottenham is in the market looking for a perfect replacement for the exited Englishman.

Interestingly, a top football journalist Fabrizio Romano, in a session with GiveMeSport confirmed Tottenham has made contacts with Orban’s camp.

And the Nigerian few months ago, made his intention of playing the English Premier League public.

However, an official bid for the 21-year-old Nigerian has not been made by the EPL outfit.

“Yes, both players are appreciated, but for both players at the moment, while we’re speaking, there is still no concrete negotiation.

“For Orban, they had some contacts on the player’s side. They pursued the player and had positive contacts because Orban is keen on a potential move to Premier League football and an important club like Tottenham. But, at the moment, there is still no official bid,” Fabrizio told GiveMeSport, and was quoted byLastwordonsports.

Gift Orban has been very instrumental for KAA Gent since he joining them last winter transfer in January from Stabæk.

The Nigerian has scored over twenty goals for the Belgian outfit across all competitions.

Interestingly, he holds record of the first player to score a Pro League Hat-trick for Gent since year 2000.

Also he holds the record of the fastest hat-trick in any UEFA competition when he played in the UEFA Europa Conference League last season.

And there’s no doubt, his much anticipated move to the English Premier League is as a result of the goal-scoring prowess.

In a related event, Orban is expected to make the final 23-man list for the Super Eagles AFCON qualifier match against Sao Tome and Principe next month.
