A teenage talented amateur footballer and top fan of Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen has vowed to boycott footballing activities if Osimhen lose out of CAF Best Player award.
The social media user identifiable as Veg Az drew social media attention to himself after making the vow.
He said to never watch football should the 24-year-old not win the next edition of the CAF Best Player Award.
Osimhen has been in top form for Napoli this season, scoring goals week-in week-out.
And he’s the current Serie A top goalscorer. He’s helping the Partenopei gear towards it’s first Scudetto title in more than three decades.
Osimhen’s latest feat was firing from close range at Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday night. Away at Frankfurt, Napoli exchanged tackles with the German Bundesliga outfit in a UEFA Champions League fixture.
Few minutes after Napoli missed a spot-kick, Osimhen scored from close range to give the visitors the lead.

Reacting after the match, Veg Az vowed never to watch football again if Osimhen loses out on the covetous prize.
Recall in 2013 Super Eagles and Chelsea Midfielder John Obi Mikel to the dismay of everybody failed to win the CAF Best Player Award.
In the year under review, Mikel helped Chelsea win it’s first ever UEFA Champions League tittle and FA Cup.
He was also an integral part of the Nigeria team that won the 2013 AFCON title. And Mikel in a recent interview said he was robbed off of the award for some reasons yet unknown.
Osimhen Deserves The CAF Best Player Award:
“If this guy(Osimhen) is not crown the African Best Player Of The Year, I’ll stop watching football,” Veg Az wrote on the comment section of NPFLUpdates verifiable Facebook page on Tuesday night.
According to Veg Az, being to the FIFA world cup shouldn’t be the only criteria for giving the award. But individual performances at club and international level should be a common factor.
Osimhen is the highest goalscorer in the ongoing AFCON qualifier matches, with five goals from two matches.
