Super Eagles forward Samuel Kalu, has scored first league goal in over six months of action npflupdates.com reports.
Samuel Kalu scored for the first time since joining Switzerland outfit Lausanne Sports from English Championship outfit Watford FC.

Kalu failed to establish himself at Watford FC
Kalu endured a hard life in England, failing to make a mark and break into Watford’s first team. Last summer, he moved to Swiss side Lausanne as he hope to recover his goal-scoring form, and help his team win matches.
In a related development, Enyimba FC playmaker Chidiebere Izuogu has promised to help the former CAF Champions League winners to win its first African Football League AFL, against Wydad Casablanca today.
According to the 18-year-old, the mentality of the players in camp is high, alongside their confidence as well.
“we promise our fans we are going to do our best. The mentality in the camp is very high, the confidence is very high, and every one is preparing to get a win on Sunday,” Izuogu said ahead of the match as posted on a Facebook page.

Also, playmaker Eze Ekwutoziam, expressed satisfaction with the preparation of Enyimba ahead of its Wydad Casablanca tie. According Eze, Enyimba is going into the game with a right mindset of getting a win.
“A lot is expected from us, knowing how strong Wydad AC is. They are one of the biggest clubs in Africa but we are not under pressure,” he said.
“We have been working hard, keeping shape and working on our strategies on how to eliminate them. A lot is expected from us not just from our fans, but Nigerians and our fans across West Africa. We are not going to let them down.”
