Ghana football giants, Accra Lions is considering a big money move for Super Eagles winger, Samuel Kalu , npflupdates understands.

Ghana Premier League club, Accra Lions is seriously considering a move for Samuel Kalu. And that’s emanating few days after the club was bought by German legend, Lothar Matthaus.

Samuel has endured a difficult life in England since joining the Hornets last season. And he last played the Skybet Championship outfit last January.

Characterized by speed, strength and versatility, Samuel’s season is being marred by series of injuries. And, adding to the lack of game time, the 25-year-old at some point was relegated to the reserve team.

And now, Accra Lions is offering the player a chance to active and competitive football.

“A lot of raw talents, as far as football is concerned can be seen in Ghana. And our FA is providing an enabling ground for Sports investors to thrive. And that can be seen with the arrival of World Cup legend, Lothar Matthaus.”

According to the source, the club which is 12th on the Ghana league table is ready to spend and improve. And, that is mostly in areas that concerns winning matches, and building a huge fan base.

“We’re looking at bringing in professional players to the club. And our target is to be a CAF Champions League winner in the next few years. Also, some established players, in our league, are already yearning for a move here,” he continued.

“Super Eagles winger, Samuel Kalu, is one of our targets. And our management have monitored his condition at Watford, and is ready to present him a loan offer. But the problem now is, if he can agree a move down here; here can help revive his career. And of course, we can’t hold him for a long time, he’s a world class.”
