Bayelsa United coach Diepreye Teibowei express satisfaction with his side’s victory over Kwara United last weekend npflupdates.com reports.
Kwara United suffered a shocking 2-1 defeat against Bayelsa United at the Samson Siasia stadium, Yenagoa, on Sunday. The victory, was Bayelsa United’s first win after winning their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday one against Akwa United few weeks ago.

The Prosperity Boys defeated the Harmony Boys 2-1 at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa on Sunday, thanks to a brace from Steiner Robert Mizo.
The 23-year-old now has five goals in five games; he is the first player to score a hat-trick in the 2023/2024 NPFL season.
Speaking after the match, while expressing excitement over his side’s victory, Diepreye appreciated Kwara United for putting up a good display.

“The win was a great relief for the team; we took the chances that came our way in the first half,” Diepreye Teibowei stated in a Post-match interview.
“We had to make some changes in order to get our rhythm back. This win will definitely lift us up as we are down on the table.”
Speaking further, the football guru, confessed the win will boost the club’s morale when they go head-to-head with Kano Pillars in the mid-week.
“The win will also boost our morale in the next game against Kano Pillars,” he added.
Bayelsa United are now in the 11th position on the league table with 6 points.
