Ladan Bosso Assemble Gigantic Squad For 13th Edition Of AAG ‘How And Where To Watch The Tourney’

Flying Eagles( Nigeria U-20 male) head coach Isah Ladan Bosso assembles a gigantic squad for the 2023 All African Games(AAG); npflupdates.com reports.

Coach Ladan Bosso has invited a total of 30 players to the Flying Eagles’ camp, as he prepares for the 13th edition of the All African Games (AAG).

From the initial 30-man,  a final list of 23 players will be drawn, and be saddled with the responsibility of flying Nigeria’s flag at the men’s football event.

Nigeria is hoping to make at least one step better and win Gold, after winning silver medals at the last edition of the Games in Rabat, Morocco in 2019.

Goalkeepers: Nathaniel Nwosu, Andy Ezekiel, James Friday, Femi Oriola

Defenders: Daniel Bameyi, Benjamin Frederick, Ibrahim Abdullahi, Emmanuel Michael, Emmanuel Onoja, Imw Sampson, Haruna Aliyu

Midfielders: Daniel Daga, Auwal Ibrahim, Yinka Sola, Farouq Olanrewanju, Chibueze Izuogu, Simon Karshe, Ibrahim Adamu, Ibrahim Idris

Forward: Kehinde Ibrahim, Danjuma Lawali, Oluwaseyi Akinfenwa, Ibrahim Lawal, Charles Agada, Nasir Myhammed, Sunday Joseph, Olalekan Ibrahim, Muhammad Isiaka, Rabiu Abdullahi, Nathaniel Arierhi.

The Flying Eagles will exchange tackles with Uganda, South Sudan, Senegal and Tunisia in that order in the group stage of the 13th African Games (formerly All-Africa Games).

The tournament will start on 8 March, and come to an end on 24th day of the same month.

Recall, Bosso led the U20 boys to the quarter-finals of last year’s FIFA U20 World Cup finals in Argentina.

On the other hand Nigeria’s, Falconets’ Head Coach Christopher Musa Danjuma, who recently helped his 2022 World Cup quarter-finalists to secure a ticket to this year’s FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup finals in Colombia, called up 23 players.

Falconets list for the 2023 All African Games

All invited players from both the men’s and women’s teams are advised to report at the Agete Luxury Hotel in Gwarinpa Estate, Abuja on Thursday, 15th February 2024.

The Falconets will exchange tackles with Group stage opponents Morocco, Senegal and Cameroon.
