Moses Simon Opens Up After Stunning Performance In 8-Goal Thriller

Nantes FC winger, Moses Simon, opens up on his Man-of-the-match performance against FC Lorient last Saturday npflupdates.com reports.

Simon Moses, posted a Man-of-The-Match performance for Nantes after he made two assists; and scored an injury time penalty to seal his side’s 5-3 triumph over local rivals FC Lorient.

The match that happened at the Stade de Beaujoire on Saturday saw the Nigerian Vice Captain dazzling fans and creating a lot of problems for opposition defenders.

It was his second goal of the season(and consecutively) for Nantes who moved up to sixth in the Ligue 1 standings. Moses was on target last weekend when he looped from outside the box to score a goal-of-the-month contender.

Simon was in charge of everything that went well for the Canaries in the encounter against Lorient as he constantly posed a threat down the right side. Lorient defenders found it almost impossible to cage the former KAA Gent winger.

After going down just six minutes into the game, Moses assisted Matthis Albine’s equaliser few minutes to halftime.

Also as well, the former Ajax Academy player assisted Mollet’s effort seven minutes from time.

He would go ahead to crown his effort when he by converting a spot-kick deep into stoppage time.

Reacting to the outstanding performance, the Olympics Bronze Medalist took to his verified Instagram handle; put up a picture from the game and captioned: “God’s works gives life.”

In the 2023/2024 French Ligue 1 season, Moses has contributed to five goals; scoring twice and assisting three times.

Moses Simon will hope to continue his goal-scoring, and also extending it to the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
