MTN, Nigeria Brewery Splash 3M On Super Eagles

Mobile Telecommunications Network, MTN, and the Nigeria Brewery Plc has promised in total to the tune of three million Naira to various award winners of the Guinea-Bissau match.

Nigeria will entertain Guinea-Bissau at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja on Friday, for the first leg of their double-header AFCON qualifier matches.

The second date for the tie will happen in Morocco, three days after today’s meeting.

A list of 23 players were invited by Coach Jose Peseiro for the fixture. All the players have arrived Nigeria and are ready for the game.

“I’m looking forward to the match,” Oluwasemilogo Adesewo Ajayi, told NFF TV Thursday evening.

“Hopefully I can score a lot of goals for the team if I get the opportunities,” Osimhen said in a post-match press conference Thursday evening.

“We do not underestimate our opponent, we will give them the respect they deserve as a team ”

A win for Nigeria will further strengthen it’s position on top of their group. The three-time African Champions are currently on 6 points from two games.

MTN splash money on Super Eagles:

In a bid to motivate the players ahead of the fixture, MTN promised to give out One Million Naira. But the money will go to the player who emerges as the Most Valuable Player(MVP) from the match.

In the same way, Nigeria Brewery Plc is offering Two Million Naira in total for the Most Valuable Player(MVP) and the new Energy-Moment-of-The-Match.

Nigeria Premier Football League commentator, Mike, confirmed the pledges via a post on his official Twitter account.

“MTN is offering the sum of one million naira for the MVP award in Nigeria’s clash with Guinea Bissau at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Friday. Nigerian Breweries PLC are offering two million naira in total for the MVP and the new Energy-Moment-of-the-Match.”

And the match will be Super Eagles’ first fixture after a disgraceful outing against Portugal last November. Portugal beat Nigeria 4-0 in Lisbon ahead of the World Cup tournament in Qatar
