Based on his testimony, it would be a dream come true if he can get a chance to be called up to the Super Eagles. Also he disclosed that his parents, friends and well wishers are already aware of his decision to snub England’s Three Lions for the Green and White colours of Nigeria.

“If I got the chance to play for Nigeria, I would be more than happy and accept it. I’ve already told my parents and friends that I would do that.”

In a related story, former Super Eagles Captain Austin Jay Jay, Okocha is of the opinion that Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze can still come good for AC Milan.

Chukwueze signed for Milan from Villarreal CF after spending five seasons at the Spanish club. And has since his arrival at the San Siro, is struggling in front of goal; more sadly he’s lacking enough game time.

“He’s been outstanding in the last few years now,” Okocha told Livescore.

“He’s been faced with a new challenge and it’s all about how quickly he can adjust.”

Okocha also opined that, “Language is always important because it’s always good to be able to communicate but his talent is never in doubt.”
