A former Super Eagles Midfielder Austin Jay Jay Okocha Identifies South African manager Pitso Mosimane as Jose Peseiro’s replacement npflupdates.com reports.
Okocha is of the opinion that with the right tactical coach at the helm of affairs in the Super Eagles, the national team can become a world class.

The former Bolton Wanderers’ Captain in his statement during an event to mark 60 years of Bundesliga in Johannesburg, applauded the achievements of Pitso Mosimane.
According to Jay-Jay, the former Al Ahly SC manager, is one of the best in the African continent. Okocha stressed that Pitso’s antecedents and track records is top notch and ought to be appreciated by lovers of the leather game.
Okocha Identifies Pitso Mosimane as next Super Eagles coach
Pitso as a manager helped Mamelodi Sundowns win the South African PSL multiple times. He also won the CAF Champions League twice with Egyptian outfit Al Ahly, before moving to Saudi Arabia.
“Without any doubt, Pitso is one of the best African coaches, and his track record is there for everybody to see,” the former Fenerbahce Midfielder said as quoted by TimesLive.
He added, “If we(Nigeria) can get a coach like that, he will add great value to our football because he’s got a lot of experience in Africa. I don’t know how true are the links between him and the Nigerian national team, but a coach like that will be most welcome for us.”
In a related story, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Technical Director Mr Augustine Egueavoen has canvassed support for embattled Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro.
According to Egueavoen, it will be to the country’s best interest to allow the national team manager stay focused on his job, away from undue pressure.
“I think we should just allow him [do his job] We are too much on the guy and [might] make him lose too much concentration,” Egueavoen was quoted by Soccernet Nigeria.

“Yes, it is our country, we want to win the next Africa Cup of Nations. It is our target, Nigeria’s target. Everybody is praying that we can put up a good performance and then win the Africa Cup of Nations. But final say, he has the final say on the senior team selection.”
