‘Same Class As Ronaldinho’ Pitso Mosimane Gush Over Super Eagles Legend

South African Coach, Pitso Mosimane describes Okocha as being in same class as Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho npflupdates.com reports.

Pitso Mosimane admonished Okocha’s abilities on the pitch of play when he was in his prime then in Europe.

According to Pitso, Okocha is in the same class as a former Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldinho. Okocha would always dribble defenders and opponent players with ease once in possession of the ball.

Recall npflupdates.com earlier reported that Okocha identified Pitso Mosimane as one of the best coach of African extraction currently in active coacvhing.

“Without any doubt, Pitso is one of the best African coaches, and his track record is there for everybody to see,” Okocha was quoted by TimesLive.

“If we can get a coach like that, he will add great value to our football because he’s got a lot of experience in Africa. I don’t know how true are the links between him and the Nigerian national team, but a coach like that will be most welcome for us.”

While responding to a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) where Okocha supporter a Pitso Mosimane takeover of the Super Eagles, the former Mamelodi Sundowns manager who’s, currently without any attachment, lauded the African legend. He went as far as likening him to former world cup winner and FC Barcelona winger Ronaldinho.

“Legendary JJ. Have you seen his footage when he was playing? He used to turn defenders in Europe inside out. Same class as Ronaldinho. A Gentleman also,” Mosimane said.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has called for fans support to Jose Peseiro and his Super Eagles squad.

In a report by Soccernet Nigeria, the NFF through its Technical Director Mr Augustine Egueavoen, urged supporters not to mount undue pressure on the Portuguese tactician.
