Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro, Thursday evening released a 23-man squad for this month’s 2026 FIFA world cup qualifier fixtures against the Crocodiles of Lesotho and Warriors of Zimbabwe.
Jose Santos Peseiro invited goalkeepers Francis Uzoho, Maduka Okoye, defenders Kenneth Omeruo and Olaoluwa Aina, midfielders Alex Iwobi and Frank Onyeka, and forwards Moses Simon, Kelechi Iheanacho and Taiwo Awoniyi among a list of 23 players for this month’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against the Likuena Lesotho and Warriors of Zimbabwe.
Shockingly, Musa and William didn’t make the list; as a matter of fact, the two most experienced Super Eagles players were also not in action during the last international friendly test games against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique.
