Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface is officially the first player to have more shots on goal in his first four Bundesliga games npflupdates.com understands.

The 22-year-old has had an impressive start to his career in Germany, with six goals contributions. He has registered four goals and two assists in his first three matches for Bayer Leverkusen.

Joining the German Bundesliga from the Belgian Pro League, the Nigerian has settled in quite well to life in Germany.

Interestingly, his good start has previously earned him the accolade of being the Rookie of the month. And also the third player after Paco Alcacer and Erling Haaland to make six-goal contributions in his first three Bundesliga games.

Last weekend against reigning Bundesliga champions FC Bayern Munchen, the former Royale Union Saint Gilloise forward stood and was counted. Yes he didn’t get on the scoresheet, nor any assist, but his efforts forced Bayern Munich to a 2-2 draw.

And as one of the best strikers in the game at the moment, Victor Boniface is now the first player to have attempted 29 shots in his first four Bundesliga games.

The collection began some 19 years ago, and the Nigerian shooting stats stands exceptional.

Also, he’s expected to be with the Super Eagles squad when they engage Saudi Arabia national team in October.
