A Super Eagles prospect, Noah Chidiebere Ohio has confirmed representing Nigeria at international level is an option.
Noah was born in Almere, Netherlands on 16 January 2003, to Nigerian parents. And then, he moved to England at a tender age.
So, he’s eligible to representing Nigeria through his parents, Netherlands through his place of birth. And the Three Lions of England as his place of stay since tender age.
Noah Ohio has represented Netherland at the U-15 level in 2018. And in 2019, he represented both Netherland and England at the U-16 level.
The 20-year-old started his career at Almere youth team in Netherlands. Upon arriving England, he joined Manchester United. Spending just one season at Manchester United, he switched sides to rival Manchester City.

He signed for RB Leipzig in the 2020/2021 season from Manchester city. He couldn’t make any competitive appearance, and then was loaned to Vitesse in the Netherlands’ Eredivise.
Last week, Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro was in Belgium to scout for foreign players eligible for Nigeria. And on Friday, was at the Stade Maurice Dufranse to see a game between Standard Liege and Royale Sporting Charleroi.
Reports has it that, he wanted to see fringe Super Eagles defender Valentine Ozornwafor in action. But also, he scouted Noah Ohio who scored the first Standard Liege’s goal in a 3-1 victory.
Noah Ohio Considers Super Eagles Option
When contacted, a source close to the player said, he’s ready to switch his allegiance to Nigeria despite Netherland’s interest.
According to the source, Ohio, is on the radar of Netherlands. But if Nigeria will hasten up and make him an offer, he will oblige it.
“Yes, Nigeria is an option,” the source said.
“I’ve seen him express interest in Nigeria, and Nigerian footballers. He fantasies anything that has to do with the Super Eagles. I know the Netherlands are keeping tabs on him, but, if Nigeria hastens up, he will oblige it,” he concluded.
