Multi-award winning Nigerian rapper Ramilekun Kahlid Safaru better know by his stage name Reminisce, reveals Messi wasn’t the rightful winner of the 2023 Ballon d’Or Award npflupdates.com reports.
Reminisce is of the opinion that Argentine talisman Lionel Messi wouldn’t have won the 2023 Ballon d’Or Award.

Messi saw off competitions from Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe to win his eighth Ballon d’Or Award in Paris few weeks ago. The former Barcelona forward, led Argentina to their first ever FIFA world cup title in decades; also winning the tournament’s Best Player Award in Qatar last year.
Meanwhile, Haaland finished as EPL’s highest goalscorer on record with 36 goals; also he led Manchester City to its first ever UEFA Champions League glory. He completed a treble when he helped the Cityzens win its second consecutive English Premier League title last season; and many had thought he would win the award.
Reminisce in a statement on the Zero Conditions Podcast said he’s not convince the award should go the way of Messi.

Reminisce provides opinion on 2023 Ballon d’Or Award
Reminisce started the conversation by saying, “I’m a Ronaldo fan boy,” as quoted by Pulse Sports Nigeria.
“He didn’t win anything, he was gifted, everybody knows this. I said this last year, Cristiano Ronaldo is the one true GOAT, Lionel Messi is FIFA’s creation,” said Reminisce.
The “Local Rapper” crooner, further went on to claim the 2022 FIFA World Cup which Argentina won in Qatar was scripted, “World Cup yen, it was a well-written script.”
 Rounding off the 42-year-old praised Cristiano Ronaldo, describing him as a dedicated and complete player.
