Osimhen : I’d Rather Join Messi In The MLS Than Go To Saudi Arabia

Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen reveals idea ho would prefer playing in the Major League Soccer (MLS) than the Saudi Pro League if they present same conditions npflupdates.com reports.

Osimhen admitted the Saudi Arabia is doing a good job by promoting  their Pro League , but he’s prefer the America if they both present same conditions.

Also the former Golden Eaglets players publicly acknowledged that the Italian Serie A is one of the most difficult professional leagues in the world judging by the physicality of players there.

What Osimhen said about playing in the MLS and Saudi Pro League

“I am happy at Napoli,” Osimhen said in a Twitch interview with Emiliano Viviano and former AC Milan forward Mario Balotelli and quoted by ESPN media outlet.

“People don’t know how difficult it is to play in Serie A. From a tactical and physical point of view, it’s one of the most difficult leagues to play in.”

When asked if he would rather play in the MLS or Saudi Pro League if given the same conditions, Osimhen said: “If I had the same conditions, I would go to MLS.”

The former Olympique Lille forward acknowledged, and praised the Saudi Pro League for the efforts put in developing their top flight.

It’s no longer news that since the arrival of Portuguese profession, Cristiano Ronaldo, to Al Nassr in January, the Saudi Pro league has witnessed huge influx of football’s biggest names. And that includes the 2022 Ballon d’Or winner and France international Karim Benzema, and also Brazilian all time Goalscorer Neymar Junior.

Reports has it that during the last summer, transfer window, clubs in the Saudi league,  spent over $1billion in acquiring over ninety foreign players from Europe’s to leagues.

“They are trying to develop their league, which is good,” Osimhen further said.

“One [Ronaldo] of the greatest of all time has gone there. Because of his [Ronaldo’s] influence, they have attracted a lot of talented players to also go there.”

He added, “So for me it’s really good, they are trying to build their league into one of the best. For me they are doing something amazing.”
