What Emmanuel Amuneke said about Super Eagles job
Speaking in a recent interview, the former FC Barcelona winger revealed he has served Nigeria all his life with his whole heart. And can hesitate to honour the clarion call if coaching the Super Eagles if the need arises.
“I am a Nigerian, all my life I have served Nigeria as a player. If Nigerians now find me fit to add value to the team, of course, it is a welcome development,” Amuneke said in an interview on Central Television and was quoted by Daily Post Nigeria.
“But for now it is not necessary to talk about this issue.”
According to the former Olympic Eagles winger, it’s not wise to talk about Super Eagles job at the moment. He insisted that what the team needs at this time is support, so they can come back stronger after losing the 2023 AFCON finals to the Akwaba Elephants.
