CAF want players to move to leagues were earning is best

According to the football executive, it’s imperative that players of African extraction be allowed to ply their trade in any league where their earnings is the best.

“We need to encourage our players(Africans) to leave for where the money is better. If the money is better at home, you stay, if it’s elsewhere, you go there,” the football executive said.

Speaking further, the owner of South African club Mamelodi Sundowns, hinted about influencing Nigeria to host a FIFA world cup tournament.

Motsepe revealed he’d want Nigeria to host a FIFA world cup tournament; and he’d talk to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu about that once he arrives Abidjan for the 2023 AFCON final.

“I know the president of Nigeria is coming for the final, I’ll ask him to put in a bid for Nigeria to host the World Cup (smile),” Motsepe said.
