FIFA U-20 : Foreign Witches Invaded Our Camp

Speculations are spreading that the main reason why the Flying Eagles lost to Korea Republic at FIFA U-20 tournament on Sunday is as a result of witches invasion of the camp.

Flying Eagles on Sunday evening, crashed out of the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup. The team suffered a narrow 1-0 loss to Korea Republic. And the only goal that made the difference came in the extra-time duration.

Korean defender Choi, headed home from a corner-kick. And all efforts by the rampaging Nigerians to restore parity proved abortive. Because the defense line up of the Koreans stood and held their positions.

And this is not the first time the Flying Eagles will be crashing out of the competition at that stage. In 2007, under the tutelage of Ladan Bosso, the team crashed out after losing 4-0 after extra-time to Chile U-20.

And this shocker is coming at a time when fans and supporters of the team are rooting for the team to win the title. Because the Nigerian team, did exceptionally well at their group stage. Also, going against all odds to beat host nation Argentina in the round of 16.

A big talking point out of the match, is the non-inclusion of winger Haliru Sarki. Sarki has been instrumental for the team at the competition. Always starting from the bench, and becoming sensational whenever he’s introduced. But yesterday, he wasn’t included in the match-day squad.

Speculations said he had fallen sick shortly after the Argentina victory. And that may be the cause of his exclusion from the squad.

What was said about Flying Eagles at FIFA U-20

“Why is Haliru Sarki excluded from the squad? Well, his absences shouldn’t be an excuse for the defeat. But his impact is greatly missed,” Peter, a supporter told npflupdates correspondent.

“Foreign witches may have invaded the camp of the Flying Eagles. If not, why the lack of goals and coordination by a team that beat Italy and Argentina.”

  1. I don’t agree with the call for the resignation of Bosso. All praises to him for putting in place this perfect team, they didn’t lost because they’re not good but that luck was not on their side. Bosso is one Nigeria coach that deserves commendation.

  2. These boys should be kept together, they have tge potential of forming the best super eagles ever.

  3. The coach did well and the where fantastic ,its just luck ran against conceiving a goal at the peak of time .
