NPFLUpdates in-house analyst Mr Best, has cried over the absence of Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho from the national team.
Francis Uzoho will not travel with the Super Eagles of Nigeria to Monrovia, for the AFCON qualifier fixture against Sierra Leone. Because, the Cyprus-based goalkeeper was cautioned in his last game against Guinea-Bissau.
And the absence of Uzoho forced the national team coach Jose Peseiro, to invite Israel-based Adebayo Adeleye.
So, it’s expected that Adeleye will man the Super Eagles goal, with the likes of Victor Sochima(Rivers United) and Ojo Oloruneke(Enyimba FC) staying as substitutes.

Uzoho since after the AFCON tournament in Cameroon, has established himself as the first choice goalkeeper of the national team. And he has been doing the job judiciously and dedicatedly.
And while reacting to the absence of the former Deportivo La Coruna shot-stopper, Mr Best said his absence will be greatly felt. According to him, Uzoho is a household name in the national team, having established good relationship with his defenders.

Nigeria will miss Francis Uzoho against Sierra Leone
“Honestly speaking, Francis Uzoho will be missed against the Sierra Leone fixture. And that’s not because he’s better than the invited goalkeepers. But because he’s already grounded with his defenders; and can issue out instructions with ease,” he said Wednesday evening.
“The game in Monrovia will not be a walkover for the team. And that’s the more reason why, the invited ones(goalkeepers) should step up their games. And should also have in mind, that a good result guarantees a spot at the next edition of AFCON.”
Speaking further, the seasoned analyst, expressed confidence in the team, and their coaching crews. Stressing that, Sierra Leone may be a difficult opponent, but is no match for the Super Eagles.
“Sierra Leone has improved(in football) in recent times. And may be a difficult and stubborn opponent; but Nigeria will win,” he concluded.
This so called expert has said nothing – let’s give others a chance . Was this not the same Uzoho that panicked against the Black Stars in Abuja. No team is a push over . If the pitch is good , the right players are selected and the tactics are right , then Eagles will do the job . After all there is no advantage for either team as the game is being played in neutral grounds . On paper Eagles are the stronger team , but they have the earn the right to be there and come Sunday the will top the group again and qualify
To make it short!
I swear we no miss am at all.
