Super Eagles invitee Gift Orban has revealed his intentions of playing in a more competitive and bigger league npflupdates.com reports.
Orban is currently in camp with the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of a 2024 AFCON qualifier fixture. The Super Eagles will entertain Sao Tome and Principe at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium Uyo, on Sunday, in its final qualifier match.
And Gift who is in camp with the national team for the first time is already leaving his dream life. According to the 21-year-old, he’s happy for the invitation. And will go ahead to give everything in his arsenal to ensure victory for Nigeria.

“I’m very happy to be here to give everything for my country. It’s very important for me, Orban told Brila FM and was quoted by Soccernet Nigeria.

He further highlighted that, his duty as a striker is to help his team win matches by scoring goals. Also, he stressed it’s paramount that he scores a goal in every match he played, as that will boost his confidence.
“I’m a striker, and my job is to score. In every game, I need to score,” he continued.
“I’m in Belgium, but I need to play in a big league,” he stated.
Speaking further, Gift stressed that he had always dreamed and believed his Super Eagles time will come.
Born to a Nigerian father and a Togolese mother, Orban is eligible to represent Nigeria as well as Togo. But he had chosen Nigeria, despite playing most of his youth football in Togo.
“I have always believed that one day I will play for the Super Eagles. My mother is from Togo and I always visited her over there , but my greatest ambition is to represent Nigeria,”he told Completesports.com Nigeria.
And on Sunday against Sao Tome and Principe he may have the opportunity to have his dream come true.
