Osimhen finally got his first goal for Napoli after enduring lack-of-goals that spanned across four different fixtures. The Napoli talisman scored his last goal for the club in August; and is yet to register any goal in the ongoing UEFA Champions League.
The short-lived goal drought wasn’t wholeheartedly embraced by some fans; and last weekend after missing a goal-scoring opportunity from the spot, Napoli trolled him in a viral(now deleted) video.
The former Olympique Lille in what looked like a response to the public assault, removed at least 98 percent of photos, or videos related to Napoli. Also, he had through his agent Roberto Calenda threatened to take a legal action against the club.n
Mr. Calenda in a statement strongly condemned the action of the club, stressing that it is capable of causing a “very serious damage go the player.”
“What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on TikTok platform is not acceptable. A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted,” Calenda said.

“A serious fact that causes very serious damage to the player and adds to the treatment that the boy is suffering in the last period between media trials and fake news.”
“We reserve the right to take legal action and any useful initiative to protect Victor,” he added.
Meanwhile, Napoli coach Rudi Garcia, admitted players frustration after the draw away at Bologna last weekend. According to the former Al Nasr gaffer, he had spoken to Osimhen after a touchline row between them.
Garcia explains discussion with Victor Osimhen
“We were frustrated after the draw vs Bologna, then some awkward things on social media didn’t help us in the last two days,” Garcia was quoted by Fabrizio Romano.
