Victor Osimhen has been advised by a top football journalist Piers Morgan to join former English Premier League champions Arsenal npflupdates.com reports.
In a viral TikTok video(now deleted) posted on the official handle of Napoli trolled Victor Osimhen for his late penalty miss against Bologna last weekend.
Last weekend Victor had missed a clear goal-scoring opportunity from the spot after being denied by the post in the first half. The miss, ensured that Napoli, stays without a Serie A win in three matches. And Osimhen staying without a goal in his last four appearances for Napoli across all competitions.
Nigerians and football lovers around the world had criticised the video, which was later deleted by the club. And Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, has threatened a legal action against Napoli.
“What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on TikTok platform is not acceptable. A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted,” Mr. Calenda was quoted by Fabrizio Romano on X.
According to Calenda, the video is a serious fact that “causes very serious damage go the player.”

‘A serious fact that causes very serious damage to the player and adds to the treatment that the boy is suffering in the last period between media trials and fake news,” he continued.
“We reserve the right to take legal action and any useful initiative to protect Victor,” he added.
In a related development, Di Lorenzo, Napoli’s Captain, has urged the team to remain focused at a trying time like what is obtainable at the club.
“We manage certain episodes within the locker room. These become more evident when things go wrong.
“In these moments we don’t need such an attitude, we need to be united and focused on the objective. We will talk to the group and the coach to resolve it,” he said.
While reacting to the whole PR between Osimhen and Napoli, football journalist Piers Morgan advised the Nigerian to switch sides.
According to the 58-year-old, Osimhen shouldn’t consider taking the ‘terrible’ treatment.

Fans have since been reacting to the call, and while some are cheerful, some are of a different opinion.
“That will be a downgrade for him! Arsenal is a small team compared to Napoli who just won the league,” @CallMeHabeeb said on X.
