Rafiu Durosinmi : Eintracht Frankfurt Offer €18M For Powerful Forward

Prospective Super Eagles forward Rafiu Durosinmi maybe joining a German Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt npflupdates.com reports.

According to a report by the PUNCH Nigeria, Eintracht Frankfurt are in negotiations with Czech Republic giant, Viktoria Plzen over the signing of Rafiu Durosinmi during the January winter transfer window.

Rafiu Durosinmi close to joining Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt

It was gathered that the Bundesliga outfit offered to the tune of €18m for the young Nigerian lethal goalscorer.

Frankfurt see Rafiu Durosinmi as an ideal replacement for erstwhile forward and France international Randal Kolo Muani who switched sides to Paris Saint Germain last summer.

Durosinmi we understand has held an initial discussions with The Eagles, and it has gone well with both clubs (Frankfurt and Viktoria Plzen) discussing a potential transfer fee.

It is not news that the 20-year-old Nigerian was in fine form for the former Czech Republic champions this season before rupturing his knee ligament.

Before the injury that ruled him out for weeks, Rafiu Durosinmi has scored six Fortuna Liga goals, and also enjoyed five assists.

In another story, ‘Lesotho Times’, a newspaper company in Lesotho has urged the Likuena to go all out and defeat a depleted Super Eagles side.

The three-time African champions will welcome Lesotho, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium Uyo, on November 16 for the first leg of the 2026 FIFA world cup qualifier.

Meanwhile, a lot of big names won’t be around for the tie, thanks to injury.

“Top Nigerian players that will miss the Likuena clash are AC Milan forward Samuel Chukwueze, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, Nottingham Forest’s influential player Taiwo Awoniyi, Bruno Onyemaechi a defender at Portuguese club, Boavista and Leicester City’s key midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi,” the newspaper story read in part.
