Super Eagles defender, Chidozie Awaziem returns to his parent Portuguese club FC Boavista npflupdates reports.
The 25-year-old rejoined the Portuguese Primera Liga outfit, after a loan spell for a Croatian outfit Hadjuk Split.
And in Croatia, Chidozie was a standout player, working round the clock for the success of the team. And as a lucrative be player, he enjoyed over 30 appearances for the club, and starting 29.
Also, he helped the club win the Croatian League Cup when they defeated Sibenik 2-0 in the finals. And in his over 30 games for Hadjuk Split, the Super Eagles player found the target five times; despite not playing as an attacker.

However, now that his loan agreement has expired, Awaziem’s future will be solely determined by his parent club. And of course, any other potential transfer negotiations.
Hadjuk Split’s Sports Director Mindaugas Nikoličius, admitted Chidozie is a good stopper. And also, an exceptional professional player who “raised the level” of their game last season.
Speaking further, the football executive stated that the club is yet to find a model for which they can continue working with the player. But will definitely continue to monitor his situation as it concerns the transition period.
“We thank Chidozie for all the good moments, he is a quality stopper and an exceptional professional who raised the level of our game last season. His loan has expired, at the moment we haven’t found a model for continued cooperation,” Mindaugas said.

“But we will definitely continue to monitor the situation regarding him in the current transition period,” he added
Meanwhile, speculations has it that , Chidozie’s exit from the club has to do with his wages. And some sources have confirmed that Hadjuk Split can not at this moment afford what the player is askinh for.
