What the Danish Government holds for Izunna Uzochukwu
Despite serious argument by the player that he had a girlfriend and daughter living in Denmark, he was told that the available address of his daughter differed from that of his own.
“I have my girlfriend and my daughter in Denmark, and I have almost lived in the country for 15 years. I feel really bad and I’m really stressed about it. I can’t do anything!” Uzochukwu said to bold.dk.
As a matter of fact, Izunna’s case has even compounded due to the fact that his appeal to the Danish authority has been rejected. The only available option now, is for the Nigerian to leave the country as soon as possible so he can escape being deported.
Meanwhile his several visits to Denmark during his time in with the Chinese club and the Chinese League were classified as holiday visits by the Danish Immigration Board.
“I cannot live in Denmark now, and they are trying to get me out of the country because they have said no to the appeal.
“I don’t think it’s fair, and I’ve been waiting for more than two years. I can’t do anything, and I’ve had offers from other clubs that I’ve had to say no to.”
