Boniface Drops Statement After Firing Leverkusen To Europa Knockout Stages

Nigerian forward Victor Boniface makes first official statement after helping Bayer 04 Leverkusen progress to Europa League knockout stages npflupdates.com reports.

In another story, Victor and Bayer Leverkusen teammate, Nathan Tella have been invited by Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro, for the world cup qualifier fixtures against Lesotho and Zimbabwe next week.

Also invited for the mouthwatering tie are goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, defenders Kenneth Omeruo and Olaoluwa Aina, midfielders Alex Iwobi and Frank Onyeka, and forwards Moses Simon, Kelechi Iheanacho and Taiwo Awoniyi.

The first match which is against the Likuena of Lesotho, will be played at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo next week Thursday.

Thereafter, the three-time African champions will fly to Rwanda for a clash with the Warriors of Zimbabwe at the Huye Stadium in Butare on Monday, 20th November.
