Carlo Ancelotti Worried About Dangerous Osimhen Ahead Of Napoli Clash

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti, expresses concerns about Napoli forward Victor Osimhen ahead of a UEFA Champions League fixture on Tuesday evening npflupdates.com reports.

Osimhen is expected to lead Napoli’s attack when they entertain former UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid on Tuesday.

Napoli will look to make it a second consecutive win in its UCL 2023/2024 season, after beating SC Braga few weeks ago. On the other hand, Real Madrid also hopes go cement it’s position on the top of their Group with a second consecutive win.

Osimhen scored five goals in six UEFA Champions League games last season, helping Napoli reach the quarterfinals, before losing to rivals AC Milan.

Also last season, the Nigerian notched twenty-six Serie A goals to become the first African ever to win Italy’s highest goalscorer award.

And this season, the former Olympique Lille forward, has scored five Serie A goals, including scoring back-to-back against Udinese Calcio and Lecce. He’s yet to appear on a UCL scoresheet this season, and but is expected to make a mark today.

Speaking to Real Madrid media ahead of the game, Ancelotti confesses Napoli have a very good attacking department studded with quality players.

Dangerous Osimhen can not be neglected

“They are very good forwards who have really broken out in the last year, they have demonstrated their quality and shown they are top-level players,” Ancelotti said.

“They have amazing talent with different characteristics. Kvaratskhelia is very strong one-on-one and Osimhen is very dangerous.”
