Flying Eagles : AC Milan Declare Interest In World Cup Sensation

Former Italian Champions AC Milan have revealed their intention of signing Flying Eagles midfielder Daniel Daga .

Daniel is currently with the Flying Eagles squad in Argentina for the FIFA U-20 World Cup. And the 16-year-old combative midfielder, has been sensational. And is also the rave of the moment in the squad, drawing interest from top European clubs.

The Dakkada FC midfielder helps in protecting the Nigerian defense and goalkeeper from attacks by opponent players.

And with some top players likely to move away from the San Siro in the summer, AC Milan is already looking for their replacement.

And multiple sources have confirmed that Daga is being considered by the Italian giants. So, if the deal becomes successful, Daniel Daga will be joining midfield partner, Victor Eletu next summer.

Eletu is a current player of AC Milan. But he plays in the youth team. However, their are speculations he will be promoted to the first team next season.

The sensational playmaker, signed for Milan less than one year ago. But he has become an integral part of the youth and senior teams.

Reacting to the speculations, npflupdates in-house analyst Mr Bertrand, urged the player to remain focused at this point.

“It’s still a mere speculations, though, there may be some elements of truth in it. What I must advise, is for him(Daniel Daga) to remain focused for now. He’s a lovely kid, and plays football like a top professional,” he said Saturday morning.

“If he can be consistent, and keep helping Nigeria in Argentina, then, a move will be easier. But, if he flops now, maybe by basking in the euphoria that Milan is interested in his services. Then it’s an error.”

Meanwhile, the Flying Eagles suffered its first defeat against Brazil U-20 on Saturday evening.

Two quick goals by Jean and Marquinhos, in the first half was the difference between the two bitter rivals.

And by that score, Nigeria is third on the group table. And will likely qualify for round 16 as best losers.
