Flying Eagles Coach Isah Ladan Bosso, remains upbeat his boys has what it takes to win the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup.
And this is coming at a time when Nigerians allay fears that the team may not survive Argentina U-20.
Last weekend, the Flying Eagles from being group leaders, finished third behind Brazil and italy. And that’s because, they failed to win against Brazil. And by that result, Nigeria is yet to secure a single win against Brazil U-20 since they first met in 1983 world cup.
Nigeria is drawn to face the FIFA U-20 W’Cup host, Argentina in the Round of 16, as many supporters continue to write them off.
But, in a statement by Bosso, his boys are prepared to fighting for the trophy. According to the tactician, the defeat against Brazil will not affect their readiness to conquer.

Flying Eagles fighting for World Cup glory
“The match has come and gone. Before this match, we were planning this match, we’d go back and prepare for the real game,” he was quoted by The PUNCH .
“We have to fight for the trophy. I think it is still open. Everybody can be there, and I believe we have the capacity to be there (the final).”
And in addition, the 55-year-old, revealed there is a different approach which he will employ for the Argentina fixture.
“We are into the knockout stage, and in the knockout stage, there is an approach, we can employ for it. And we hope we’d have our plans executed accordingly.”

Nigeria will face Argentina at the prestigious Estadio San Juan Bicentenario on Wednesday, 31 June 2023.
And the match which will kick-off at exactly 10pm local time, will see the Flying Eagles fight for their first ever FIFA U-20 World cup in thirty decades.
